Trauma & PTSD
As the spouse of a First Responder, I understand the difficulties that may occur when an individual is exposed to trauma, and the challenges that may occur with trying to manage these emotions and feelings that are associated with this exposure. I will use a comprehensive approach to treatment that includes medication, personalized coaching and collaborating with another specialist in the field for more intensive therapy as needed. Everyone is unique in their exposure to the events that have impacted them, and my goal is to help you understand you are not alone, and together we can work to improve your ability to manage the struggles that you may be facing. It is possible to feel better and to be able to move forward and reach the goals you have set for your life and well-being.
ADHD
ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, can have a significant impact on individuals. Those with ADHD often struggle with maintaining focus, regulating their impulses, and organizing tasks. These challenges can affect various aspects of their lives, including work, school, and interpersonal relationships. Additionally, individuals with ADHD may experience feelings of frustration, low self-esteem, and anxiety as they navigate daily activities. However, it's important to recognize that ADHD can also bring strengths such as creativity, energy, and the ability to think outside the box. With the right support, understanding, and coping mechanisms, people with ADHD can lead fulfilling and successful lives.
